Queen’s Case Competition (Q.C.C.)

I.C.B.C. is pleased to host the annual Queen’s Case Competition every September. This competition serves at Queen’s official internal case competition, designed exclusively for Queen’s students with all levels of case experience (we kindly invite external students to explore I.C.B.C.).

The competition consists of two streams: the Maroon stream, which serves as an introduction to case-based analysis for first-year students with minimal case experience, and the Gold stream, which is the stream open to more experienced competitors.

The Q.C.C. Experience

Dynamic Cases

We are excited to deliver cases that are uniquely catered to participants’ level of experience. The cases at Q.C.C. reflect the modern business environment, providing an invaluable learning experience.

EXCLUSIVE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Competitors can participate in exclusive workshops, networking lunches, and coffee chats. There are also multiple opportunities to mingle with sponsors, faculty, and other competitors throughout the workshops, competition, Final Banquet and the Social. For Maroon Competitors, many in their first-year, Q.C.C. provides opportunities to meet and interact with their fellow classmates, while for Gold Competitors, Q.C.C. offers the chance to tackle cases with their fellow compatriots.

ENGAGING WORKSHOPS

Q.C.C. is the ultimate learning experience. Each year, various exclusive workshops are lead by our sponsoring firms to provide competitors with the opportunity to learn and develop into the leaders of tomorrow. Whether it be tips on recruiting, to how to tackle a case, or other related topics, competitors are able to grow with each opportunity. In addition, many workshop hosts return as judges, allowing competitors to receive real-time feedback on their performance.
